Soles for Souls
HI THERE, Famolare's Elevated Platform Sandals & Shoes
Look Tall. Feel Like Yourself.
Why do heels have to hurt? The Famolare HI THERE collection is built on a higher-profile wavy platform sole. HI THERE styles give you genuine lift and genuine comfort in at the same time. Walk a trade show in the Double Vision. Wear the But What to a long lunch date. Strap into the Cross Your Heart for a festival where you'll clock serious miles. Stay out in the Square Up until the music stops. Whatever the occasion, Famolare’s HI THERE sole lets you look incredible without having to calculate when you'll need to sit down.
Platform Engineering That Puts You First
The HI THERE platform sole does the same biomechanical work as the rest of the Famolare family, just elevated. Wave one absorbs heel and ankle shock. Wave two cushions the arch. Wave three rolls you forward. The padded leather insole gives firm, support and cushioning across the full vachetta leather footbed. The 100% leather upper with leather lining that breathes and a leather insole that molds to your foot on top of a recyclable rubber outsole. Handcrafted in North America from locally sourced components, in factories that pay a living wage.
FAQ
Questions About Our Shoes
What is the Famolare HI THERE collection?
A range of elevated platform sandals and shoes built on a three-wave wavy sole with a 1 1/8" platform and 3 1/4" heel. Styles include the Double Vision open-toe platform sandal, Square Up closed-toe platform shoe, Cross Your Heart ankle-strap sandal, Upslide platform slide, and But What open-toe sandal, designed for occasions where you want genuine lift without the usual trade-off.
How high is the platform on Famolare HI THERE sandals?
1 1/8" at the forefoot and 3 1/4" at the heel. Because the entire sole is elevated uniformly, not just the heel, your foot stays in a natural, parallel-to-ground position. That means HI THERE carries far less forward pitch than a traditional 3 1/4" heel, making it significantly more stable and comfortable for extended wear.
Are Famolare HI THERE platform sandals actually comfortable to walk in?
Yes, and that's the whole point. The three-wave platform sole absorbs heel shock, cushions the arch, and rolls the foot forward naturally at elevation. Because the platform raises the whole foot rather than just the heel, posture and gait stay natural. Customers regularly wear HI THERE styles all day at trade shows, festivals, and weddings.
What is the difference between HI THERE and GET THERE sandals?
Sole height. GET THERE has a 1" platform and 1 3/4" heel, a low flatform for everyday all-day wear. HI THERE has a 1 1/8" platform and 3 1/4" heel, a higher platform for elevated occasions. Both use Famolare's wavy sole biomechanics and 100% leather construction. HI THERE simply delivers more height with the same comfort principles.
What are the most popular HI THERE styles?
The Double Vision platform sandal (Coal, Honey, Earth, Blood, Cement), the Cross Your Heart ankle-strap sandal (Coal, Honey, Copper, Serpent), the Square Up platform shoe (Coal, Honey, Cement, Truffle, Snow), and the Upslide platform slide. All priced at $178-$198, all on the same three-wave 3 1/4" heel sole.
